What is a yarn club?
In short, it’s a box of surprise yarn. Usually with extras and always themed. I am happy to work with weight and blend preferences, but the colourway will always be a surprise until it lands on your doorstep!
How do I request a custom order?
Seen colourway you love but would prefer it on a different base? Fill in the custom request form. Please note: OOAK skeins can’t be replicated but I can do something similar. Please ensure you order enough yarn for your project; even within the same dye batch there will be subtle differences between skeins. It’s the nature of hand dyed & why I recommend alternating between skeins every few rows.
What is your dispatch time?
I post Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. My turnaround time for custom orders is currently 2 weeks.
How do I care for my hand dyed creations?
I only use superwash yarn, unless non-superwash has been specifically requested. This yarn has been treated meaning it will withstand gentle machine washing. However, to keep your items in the best condition I always recommend hand washing. You may get a bit of colour run on first wash- despite the dye being fixed properly, this can happen with certain colours, and is totally normal.
Where else can I buy your yarn?
I am a member of ‘Yarnmama’, which is the original indie dyer collective. We have monthly market nights on the last Friday of the month, on our Facebook page. I also supply Parlour Yarns in Carrickfergus, The Glen Gallery in Cullybackey and Yarn for the Soul.
How do I place a wholesale order?

Do you teach dyeing?
I do! Every couple of months I hold a workshop in Parlour Yarns, Carrickfergus. You will learn the principles of dyeing yarn, and be able to complete your own skein to take home. Contact them directly for upcoming dates.
What is your returns policy?
I have a 14 day return policy. However, this does not apply to custom dyes, yarn clubs or one off boxes.
