Fruity is my very own custom spun yarn, and was originally a Crowdfunder project.  The bulk is an extra fine superwash merino for softness and durability, blended with pineapple and banana fibres.  It is shiny, soft and has little flecks of the fruit fibres throughout that gives it a really unusual look.

80% 18.5 micron superwash merino

10% pineapple fibre

10% banana fibre

Dye Candy products are dyed in my studio in Randalstown, Northern Ireland.  I personally dye everything by hand, and love creating new colourways for you to enjoy.  As my yarns are dyed in small batches, there will be variations between skeins, even within the same dye lot.  If you are planning on a larger project in one colourway, alternating between skeins is the best way to avoid pooling.

I advise hand washing and always lying flat to dry, to ensure you get the best out of your items.

Although every effort has been taken to ensure colourfast yarn, you may experience a small amount of colour bleeding on the first couple of washes.  This is normal for hand dyed fibres.
